Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie
Hia♥ It's Isabella Claire, here to teach you how to make a chocolate strawberry smoothie♥ It's a delicious morning treat especially it's that time of the month, ^-^ lol.
 
Prep: 5-10 minutes
Total time: 5-10 minutes
Servings: 2-4
Ingredients
~1 Tbs of Nutella
~1/4 of a bar of chocolate
~ 10 strawberries
~1/2 a cup of low-fat yogurt (preferably strawberry
~4-6 ice cubes
~1/2 cup of skim milk
~1 tsp of vanilla
 
Steps
~Chop strawberries into little pieces, however don't use the leafy parts of the strawberries
~Get all your ingredients together (and measured) and put them in the blender *Optional is to melt the chocolate bar
~Blend on high for about 1 minute
~Blend on low till smooth (if too thin add more yogurt, if too thick, add more milk(about a tablespoon at a time)
~Pour into 2-4 glasses and get your friends together to enjoy♥

Hey girlies, I'm here to talk to you about something very serious... Depression.
 
~About Mental Illnesses~
I'm about to teach you everything I learned in health.
The thing you have to remember about Depression is that it IS curable and it's NOT something to be ashamed of. Depression IS classified as a mental illness as well as anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and Post Dramatic stress disorder (PDST). Mental disorders are illnesses that effect the mind and reduces a person's ability to function, adjust to changes, and/or to get along with others.
 
~Some things to know~
Depression is an emotional state in which a person feels extremely sad and hopelessness for MORE than 2 weeks STRAIGHT. It can be a biological condition, which doesn't mean you blame your parents but because of the genetics that can lead to an imbalance of brain chemicals. It's NOT always because of genetics, however. It can just be because of the people around you, the place your in and your personality. It can effect anyone, including any model or actor. You can have everything in the world and still experience those feelings. It IS NOT anyones fault!
 
~Symptoms~
Sadness, hopelessness, guilt, can't concentrate easily, headaches, digestive problems, and you feel worthless.
 
What is the difference if I'm depressed or just sad?
This is a common question. Depression in a an EXTREME sadness and feeling of worthlessness for OVER 2 weeks and being sad is just a FEELING that is FOR a couple of days. Also, depression EFFECTS your daily life (eating, after school activities, school work and more) while sadness allows you to do stuff.
 
Can it effect me?
Yes. It can effect anyone at any age and it can be unnoticed and even decrease over time.
 
How many people does it affect?
1 in 8 people all around the world.
 
What causes it?
Well it can be a lot of things. It can be a brain chemical imbalance, negative outlook, flailing something and focusing on it too much, stress, and many others.
 
What are some more symptoms?
~Sleeping a lot
~Sleeping not enough
~Eating too much
~Not eating
~being antsy, irritated
~Don't like same activities
Many symptoms are out there, but it depends what type of depression and the person. You might not have all of them, or you might have some, or you might have only 1 or 2 of them.
 
What can I do if I think I have Depression?
First you should talk to a TRUSTED ADULT, and someone who cares deeply about you. Then you should seek help by a consoler or doctor.
 
What can i do if someone I love is showing signs of depression?
I learned that you should follow ACT.
A~ Acknowledge the problem and/or the cause
C~ Care, tell the person how much you care for them and that you can help them and how depression isn't something to be ashamed of
T~ Tell, tell a trusted parent/guardian. I know that sometimes people are going to get mad because you tell someone, but would you rather be the reason they don't get help and can possibly worsen or the person who helps them solve their issues? Because only a true friend would tell someone and make sure that their friend gets the proper attention, even if it costs your friendship. Also, it's possible that a life can be on the line.

staying positive and r e l i e v i n g stress
Hey girlies♥ It's May here. Winter is almost ending and school is almost over, however, that means teachers are piling on assignments, championships are coming up, family time is getting scarce, everyone is getting antsy, drama might be starting (boy or girl) and it's getting to be super overwhelming. Well I'm here to help balance things out, relieve your stress, and help you stay positive!
 
S c h o o l w o r k ♥ w o r k ♥ a n d ♥ o r g a n a z a t i o n♥
 
1.) Keep a planner♥
School planners can be stupid and pointless (mines technically is just another sketch book) but shockingly they do help. School planners help keep track of all the history quizzes and english papers from piling up last minute. You definitely do not want to pull an all nighter before your big game so organizing your homework can prevent procrastination. You can write down when you'll do they assignments, what assignments are do and when your tests are.
 
2.) Do it now, not later
If it's your free day and your friends calling you to go shopping but you have a monster of a paper waiting for you, DO THE PAPER! I know maybe you haven't talked to your bestie in forever, but it's better than failing out of your paper. Plus, it's not the last time in the world you'll ever see them. And maybe if you get it done you'll have more you time or friend time♥
 
G e t t i n g ♥ i n t o ♥ f a m i l y ♥ a n d ♥ f r i e n d ♥ d r a m a ♥
 
1.) If you have nothing to say, don't say it at all!
When you just want to burst out saying something mean or dishing out you're friends secret (or a suspicion) just save yourself the trouble and say NOTHING. I can't tell you how many times gossiping or busting out an insult in a fight has gotten me in trouble. Especially with my older sister!
When gossiping, just don't do it or do it with someone you trust that'd never say anything alone. Because if someone overhears or something slipped out, the person talked about can get their feelings hurt and it doesn't feel good either.
Fighting with someone sucks, but better be the one walking away than saying something back. 1st of all that only gets the other person more fired up. 2nd of all they can't use your insults to them back on you. 3rd of all, it shows that you're a good person and the person you're fighting with will eventually stop because they see it's getting them nowhere.
 
2.) Be understanding
During this time of year, everyone is waiting for summer. This can mean they're on edge or annoyed and might not be the nicest. Your job is to just be flexible and understanding. If they blow you off, just think whatever. If they might washout, just stop talking. This doesn't mean I'm telling you be their punching bag, but just be their to listen or don't freak out if it's the first time they lashed out or get annoyed. Maybe on the 3rd time you can just forget about them though♥
 
A f t e r s c h o o l ♥ a c t i v i t i e s
 
1.) Practice makes perfect
When you're competing in a sport and the championships are on the way, practice. I mean actually go out of your way in your free time, because you won't regret it when you win that competition and it helps you excel at what you're doing!
 
2.) Don't beat yourself up
If you loose, don't blame yourself! You'll only be hurting yourself. I mean there are other times that you will ace it and you will make the touchdown next time, it isn't anyones fault. Even if it's for a college scout, maybe persuade them to look at you individually and maybe next year they'll see you again and make a scholarship. Also, if your a teammate don't beat the other person that could've just ran a little harder, or thrown a little faster. Because it might suck to be on the loosing team , but it feels 100 times worse to be the one that lost the game. So be a good teammate and console them. Say it's okay or that they'll do better next time, because it does help!
 

S t a y i n g ♥ P o s i t i v e
1.) Smile
In my opinion smiling always makes me happier. Also it's catchy! It'll also make another person in the room happy and positive. Its a catchy hello, in a way.
 
2.) Think of the worst case scenario
This sounds silly, but when you're in a tough situation always think of an even tougher situation. This will make you feel better about the situation you're in because it can always be worse.
 
3.) Compliment yourself
This also sounds weird but when you feel down, think of the good things about yourself. Maybe that you're pretty or that you have nice legs.
 
4.) Think Positively
Now this might be hard when all hope seems grim, but think positive. Maybe that it could've been worse or that it'll be better tomorrow. If you loose a game, there is always next time.
 
R e l i e v i n g ♥ S t r e s s

1.) Get your mind off of it
Don't think about the situation! Instead, read a book or watch some TV. This way you can give yourself a break and relax a little and give yourself time to evaluate your stress.
 
2.) Get some exercise
Take a jog or a walk, this way you get your body moving and your blood circulating which will help you think straight.
 
3.) Listen to some music
Listening to the lyrics will help your mind escape a little, releasing the extra energy you might have.
 
4.) Talk to someone
Either on a crisis hotline or a friend, even a stuffed animal. Just talk about it, and you'll truly feel better.

hey guys! ana here. i've had to do this a lot. i don't know if you have. It's really helpful if you're stuck in a situation.
 

01. Try to steer off the topic of love and liking and hanging out completely! If you keep on talking about it then he'll get interested in you more.
 
02. Stay with your girlfriends. Probably he won't ask you out when you're with your girls.
 
03. If he does ask you out then say you're not really interested in a relationship, but you guys cold still hang out.
 
TiP: DON"T EVER SAY YOU CAN BE FRIENDS. That only makes it worse. If he asks you out and you say no but we can still be friends, he'll know you don't like him... at all. Maybe later you'll begin to like HIM.

1. Lazy
A lazy look in Hollister can be their sweatpants, matched with a sweater and a cute, simple tank. This is a cute look that takes little effort and looks AWESOME with Uggs and a simple beach bag♥
 
2. Preppy
Okay most girls know that Abercrombie and Hollister are like totally preppy! So a great preppy look is one of their cute school girl sweaters (or a blazer) with a ruffled tank (or polo) and a plaid skirt♥ This look is great for school and is beautifully matched with a backpack♥
3. Indie
I'm pretty sure that Indie might be considered a little far fetch, but maybe not since Hollister has some clothes with a laid back style. But if you use a Victoria beach tank and with light washed high-rised shorts and a Santa Monica Sweater then you have yourself an indie look :D It's great for a day at the beach or carnival and with nice, simple beach bag.
4. Girly
A girly look is easy to accomplish with all the lace and floral prints. A great look is a pencil skirt with a laced top untucked, it's nice to wear maybe out to dinner or on a date. It looks great with maybe some light ankle boots or sandals with little gems. I hope you enjoyed my tip.
